It’s amazing how attached you can grow to some people in just a short semester. Then when they disappear from your life, a big hole is left in your chest. The worst is remembering everything you learned while with them, unsure if they remember anything about you. You wonder if you’ve affected their lives at least half as much as they have affected yours. You wish that you could be in their lives again, but are forced to silently watch them pass by. The only thing that you can really do is remember them, and remember the time that you all shared. Because maybe one day you will talk to them again, and they’ll start being in your life again, but until that day comes, all you can do is watch.
